Who bills me for WhatsApp messages?
Meta bills you directly at its own rates. VartaAPI adds nothing on top.
You pay two separate things:
- Your VartaAPI plan, billed by us. This is the software.
- WhatsApp messages, billed by Meta directly, on the card attached to your own WhatsApp Business Account. VartaAPI adds nothing on top and never takes a cut.
Meta's India rates
Since 1 October 2026, before GST:

Meta changes its prices from time to time; its own rate card is always the final word.
Setting up payment with Meta
Add a card in Meta's Business Settings under Billing & payment methods, and add your GSTIN there for a GST invoice. You can see exactly what you've used in WhatsApp Manager under Insights.
The Wallet in VartaAPI is not used for messages. Adding money to it is switched off.
