Why did Meta reject my template?
Open it in Templates to see Meta's reason in plain words, then fix a copy.
Open the template on Templates. A red box starting "Meta said no." explains the reason in plain words, with Meta's own code after it.

The most common reasons
- Wrong category. Marketing is for offers and promotions; Utility is only for updates about something the customer already did.
- Formatting. A blank right at the start or end, two blanks next to each other, or an example value that doesn't match the text.
- Promotional or misleading wording in a template that isn't Marketing.
How to fix it
Meta never looks at a rejected template again. Press Fix a copy (or Fix the category in a copy), make the change, and submit it. It goes to Meta as a new template.
Paused or disabled
- Paused: too many people blocked or reported it. It starts again on its own unless it is paused a second time.
- Disabled: Meta has switched it off for good. Write a new template with different wording.
