How do I connect my WhatsApp number?
Sign in with Facebook from Settings and pick your number. No tokens to copy.
You connect your WhatsApp Business number once, from Settings. Only the account owner or an admin can do this.
Connect with Facebook
- On the Dashboard, press Connect next to "Your WhatsApp number isn't connected". (Or open Settings in the left menu.)
- Under Connect your WhatsApp in one click, press Connect with Facebook.
- In the Facebook window, choose or create your WhatsApp Business Account and add your phone number. Finish every step before the window closes.
- When it is done you will see WhatsApp connected! You can now send campaigns.
Save your PIN
Right after connecting, VartaAPI shows a 6-digit PIN once. It is your number's two-step verification PIN. Write it down: we keep no copy. If you lose it, you can reset it in Meta's WhatsApp Manager under Phone numbers → Two-step verification.
Check your number's health
The Dashboard card "Your WhatsApp number" shows:
| What | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Quality rating | High, Medium or Low, as Meta rates your messages |
| Daily limit | How many people you can start a chat with in 24 hours |
| Display name | The business name customers see, and whether Meta approved it |
| Messages arriving | When the last customer message came in |
If the card says Needs attention or At risk, your quality has dropped. Send fewer marketing messages and only to people who asked to hear from you.
If something goes wrong
- "Signup was cancelled before finishing." The Facebook window was closed early. Start again.
- "Facebook isn't ready yet." Reload the page and try again.
